
Three Masses to Celebrate its Founding
COLUMBUS, Ohio โ A new oratory staffed by the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest (ICKSP), a religious community of priests, has been established in the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio, at the invitation Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan.
Canon David Silvey will serve as the first rector of the Oratory of St. Leo the Great, 221 Hanford St, Columbus, OH 43206. There will be three special Masses to open the Oratory and mark the coming of the Institute to Columbus. The Masses to be held at St. Leo will be at the following times:
Friday, Oct 2nd, Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 6:30pm, Solemn High Mass
Bishop Robert J. Brennan will offer the
sermon and Benediction of the Most Blessed
Sacrament following Mass.Saturday, Oct 3rd, St. Therese of the Child Jesus, 9:00am, Sung Mass
Sunday, Oct 4th, External Solemnity of Our Lady of the Rosary, 8:30am Low Mass, 10:30am Sung Mass
