Beginning in 2021…

Changes to Cleveland TLM Friends

The growth and spread of parishes offering the Traditional Latin Mass in the Diocese of Cleveland has reached ten churches.

A reader recently pointed out in an email to Cleveland TLM Friends:

…single masses popping up all over the diocese.

I won’t go into the context of that remark, but lets just say it illustrates the problem with maintaining this website as it has been since being established in 2009.

Ten parishes makes it difficult to keep track of everything going on. Previously, with only 2 or 3 parishes, it was easy.

Therefore, beginning in 2021, Mass times for feast days and other such events will only be posted if verified, accurate information is sent to Cleveland TLM Friends. This can be done through the contact page. Do not send PDF’s. Send jpg images and/or text that can simply be copied and pasted.

The regular schedule of Masses, as found on our Mass locater page, will always be available. From there, its possible to click your way to parish websites to access their own, authoritative information.

On social media, you can always tag Cleveland TLM Friends with information you think is appropriate to share. @TlmFriends on Facebookย  and @TlmFriends on Twitter

I know that many people have found Cleveland TLM Friends to be very helpful and even have relied on it to some degree. This change is something I’ve been considering for a long time. What sealed the deal is the recent gathering of information for Christmas. It has had to be updated and revised, verified and corrected too many times. Clearly, a change is needed.

Thank you for understanding. I’m confident it will work out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
