[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]There was an outpouring of celebrations of Our Lady’s feast yesterday, December 8, all over the diocese. And that was with due reason: Our Lady and it was a day of obligation!

The moments captured below were from Immaculate Conception Church in Cleveland. Year after year, this feast is celebrated with due solemnity in this parish.

The pastor of Immaculate Conception, Fr. Frank Godic, had recently been through some difficultly, health wise. Fr. Bede Kotlinski had taken over administration of the parish. But now Fr. Godic is back, and he graced the church with his presence and his homily.

As for the Mass itself, it was celebrated by Fr. Bede, with the assistance of Fr. Jeffrey Weaver as deacon and Mr. John-Paul Volkenant jr. as subdeacon. Following Mass, the Eucharist was processed through the church and the night ended with benediction.

There should be no limitations, no restrictions, to this form of worship. The beauty, timelessness and sacredness are what attract so many to this Mass. In an era where faith is dwindling every year, the liturgy that is an actual source of growth should be unleashed even more.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”masonry” slides_per_view=”3″ images=”3600,3601,3602,3603,3604,3605,3606,3607,3608,3609,3611,3613″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
