The Scapular of St. Michael and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary

Celebrate Michaelmas Day and the Holy Rosary

CLEVELAND โ€” A couple of upcoming events at Mary Queen of Peace.

September 29 is Michaelmas Day, or the Dedication of St. Michael the Archangel.

On September 29th, in honor of
our continued parish devotion to
St. Michael the Archangel we will
be having a Latin Mass at 6 PM
followed by the rare opportunity
to be invested in the Scapular of
St. Michael the Archangel. This
blue and black scapular took on
popular devotion following a vision had by Pope Leo XIII in the
early 1900s after which he came
up with the prayer to St. Michael.
The Scapular is a sign of choosing St Michael the Archangel as a special defender against temptation and sin and acts
as a uniform of the angelic army. The Scapular, when worn
devoutly, acts as a defense from anything that might be an
obstacle on the road to salvation, that is from sin, Satan and
hell. Wearing the Scapular can be a source of grace to help
us bear the sacrifices and austerities required for spiritual
warfare. A limited number of scapulars will be available for
a $3.00 donation the night of this event.

October 7 is the feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.

To honor Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, a Latin Rosary will be prayed, Holy Mass (Latin) will be offered, and for those who wish to be inducted into the Rosary Confraternity, there will be a brief ceremony and the signing of the Register.

    1. No information about this has been sent to Cleveland TLM Friends yet. Your best bet is to probably contact the parish.
